King of the Hill: Cardiac Hill ACC Football Power Rankings (Week 10)

Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

Clemson defeated Florida State this week in the biggest conference matchup, cementing its No. 1 status. There was surprisingly little movement this week. Teams at the top all won outside of the Seminoles and many teams at the bottom were on bye weeks. Even Pitt, which lost to Notre Dame, remained at No. 6.

Regarding the teams in the middle at 6-3, I ranked Pitt first. The Panthers had a better showing against North Carolina than Duke. And while North Carolina State won this weekend, their only two conference wins were against Wake Forest and Boston College - arguably the two worst in the ACC. They also lost to Virginia Tech - a team that both Pitt and Duke defeated. I think they are pretty clearly the worst 6-3 team despite what Pitt and North Carolina did this weekend.

See below for my take on slotting the ACC teams after this past weekend's games.
