Pitt vs. Florida State: Open Gamethread

Pretty important game for Pitt's basketball team here as the Panthers will take on Florida State on the road.

Last time out, the team had a disastrous showing against North Carolina State at home. Things, by default, almost have to be better. As as the case with the loss to Louisville, Pitt shot extremely poorly from the field, making fewer than 37% of their attempts.

Florida State isn't going to be any pushover. The Seminoles aren't one of the ACC's elite teams, but are 12-6 and have a couple of conference wins already in defeating North Carolina State and a ranked Virginia team. Florida State has also picked up wins against Florida and Virginia Commonwealth. There's little doubt that the Panthers are going to need to play significantly better than they did against the Wolfpack to even be in the game here.
