Following the team's big win over Syracuse on Wednesday, Pitt will be in the NCAA Tournament according to the major projections out there. One surefire way of getting in would be to pull off an upset of top ten North Carolina.
The Panthers take on the Tar Heels in another noon ACC Tournament game today. It won't be easy and, judging by the team's performance the last time these two met, it's hard to predict a Pitt win here. But stranger things have happened and Pitt has had some recent success against North Carolina before, defeating them twice in the past three years.
