Pitt faces Duquesne tonight in the annual City Game. The series, of course, has sort of been turned on its head a little. The Panthers were upset last year but the Dukes and this year, Pitt is obviously struggling with almost an entirely new roster. Typically, you’d think Pitt would have revenge on its mind but since most of last year’s team is gone, I don’t even know that that will be a factor.
Pitt actually comes into the game as a 5 1/2-point favorite. That might seem surprising if you haven’t followed Duquesne this year but the Dukes are struggling just as Pitt is. Duquesne is 2-2 on the season and fresh off of losses to Robert Morris and Cornell.
