Pitt vs. Boston College: Open Gamethread

NCAA Basketball: North Carolina at Pittsburgh Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight, Pitt’s men’s basketball team is back in action with a game against Boston College.

This is one of those winnable games that will help decide if the Panthers can hang in the middle of the pack in the ACC or if they’re going to slip towards the bottom.

Boston College is only 9-9 on the year but, like Pitt (12-6) is 3-4 in ACC play. The Eagles have had several disappointing non-conference losses to teams outside of major conferences but has had enough to defeat Notre Dame, Virginia, and a Wake Forest team that beat Pitt earlier this year. At times, they’ve been decent. At other times, like a 39-point loss to Duke, they’ve been miserable.

Pitt gets the game at home and you can catch it at 9:00 p.m. on ACC Network Extra. Join us here to comment live during the game. Stephen will be down at the Pete tonight and bringing you a recap afterward.
