Pitt vs. Duke: Open Gamethread

Matt Hawley

The Pitt men’s basketball team faces a mammoth task in No. 9 Duke.

The Panthers (13-7) are looking to rebound after a sluggish start and eventual loss to Syracuse. The Blue Devils (16-3) are among the nation’s best teams but are struggling a bit themselves of late. Duke did easily take care of Miami in their last game with a 30-point win but lost their two previous games against Louisville and Clemson.

Duke not only has the benefit of playing in front of a home crowd tonight but they will also be well rested, having not played in a week. It’s pretty easy to see why they open the game as a big favorite.

Game time is at 9:00 p.m. and you can comment live during the game here. You can watch it on ESPN.
