Pitt commit Judah Mintz extended what has been an impressive run with Team Durant at Nike EYBL’s Peach Jam event on Saturday afternoon, as he led the team to a 78-63 victory over The Family and came up with an astounding 30 points in the game.

The 6’4”, 170-pound shooting guard went off early in the contest, scoring 15 points in the first quarter and enabling his team to shoot out to a 29-18 lead by the conclusion of the first frame. To some degree, the star took his foot off the gas as the game wore on, but he continued to contribute on a consistent basis, adding four points in the second quarter, seven in the third quarter and four in the fourth.

Mintz’s success down in North Augusta, South Carolina, came as a result of his aggressive, physical play, as he attacked the rim constantly and got to the foul line on multiple occasions throughout the game. As a result, he scored 10 of his 30 points on foul shots alone and missed on just two opportunities from the charity stripe. In addition, he displayed good shot selection, as he went 9-for-16 from the field on the day, including a respectable 2-for-4 showing from beyond the arc.

So far at Peach Jam, Mintz has averaged 21.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game over a span of three contests. The Pitt commit has also converted on 48.6 percent of his shots from the field, made 33.3 percent of his three-point attempts and sunk 81.8 percent of the free throws he has taken. Team Durant is 3-0 and is currently scheduled to play two more games at the event.
