Pitt hosts Western Michigan tomorrow afternoon for their 3rd game of the year, and 2nd home game. This will be the first time the two schools have met. The Broncos are coming off of a shutout win over Illinois State, 28-0 after being overmatched versus Michigan 47-14 to start the year.

This is a homecoming of sorts for three Western Michigan players we well. Defensive backs Therran Coleman and Bricen Garner, both Pittsburgh products out of HS, were contributors on Pitt’s defense before entering the transfer portal. Both had game winning interceptions with Garner catching one against Youngstown State in 2017, and Coleman sealing a win against Syracuse in 2018. Skyy Moore, a wide receiver for the Broncos, is coming back from injury and originally from New Kensington, PA.

As for the picks, the staff was confident last week in a Pitt win, and nothing has changed for this week. It’ll be interesting to see if the picks change as Pitt gets out of its nonconference schedule after homecoming next week.
