Pitt Vs. Duquesne City Game Set For November 30th At Consol Energy Center

As a valued basketball season ticket holder, I got a renewal reminder today in the mail for 2011-12 about my tickets. Not sure if I'm renewing as the prospect of leaving the house in the dead of Winter for nosebleed seats wasn't the most appealing to me last year, but whatever.

The important thing to note is that the City Game against Duquesne is set for November 30th.

I'm particularly glad the game is staying at the Consol Energy Center. Playing in the Palumbo was great because of the small-gym feel, but I thought the game last year at Consol was incredible. That game against Tennessee? Yeah, not so much.

I've gone back and forth on this a bit, but playing a few other games there on occasion such as the Tennessee contest is probably a good idea as well. It's a nice change of pace from games at The Pete and while the arena is a bit different for the players, Pitt still would enjoy a home court advantage over visitors.

Tickets will be available to Panther Club members and season ticket holders on August 1st through Ticketmaster.
