Hail To Links! The "What Do Lobsters And Hookers Have In Common?" Edition

Hail-to-links_medium

Google bombing refers to the act of publishing a large number of links and content on a particular topic to help create high ranking search results when searching for unrelated topics. Former ESPN College Football Analyst Craig James knows all about that. Unfortunately, his alma mater, SMU, is not helping his case with their most recent actions. Check how what happened with the Mustangs, what is going to go on in Providence that may involve lobsters, how the switch to the ACC will effect scheduling for everyone, and more...after the jump.

The Ghost of Craig James continues to haunt SMU. A SMU football player refused to pay a prostitute, so she stole from him and his teammates. At least she did not suffer the same fate as the "Fallen Five".

A going away party of sorts. SB Nation New York takes a look at the upcoming BIG EAST Media Day, the final one for Pitt and Syracuse. I hope the ACC has something similar to the lobster eating contest.

Making adjustments. Yesterday we talked about how the Panthers may adjust their non-conference schedule once joining the ACC. Today, Virginia Tech is taking similar actions.

"Some people see the glass half full. Others see it half empty. I see a glass that's twice as big as it needs to be." CBS Sports offers up three reasons to be optimistic for Pitt's upcoming season and three reasons not to be. Spoiler Alert: Tino is on one of the lists, and I bet you know which one.

You say tomato, I say tomahto. You say recruiting, I say poaching. Bruce Feldman takes a look at colleges actively recruiting current players from the Penn State roster. (Please note: THIS is why athletes are forced to sit out a season when transferring under normal circumstances)
