Thought we were done with the Aaron Donald honors, right? In the words of Kevin Savage from Wonder Years - Wrongo.
Donald wracked (see what I did there?) up more honors this week on a national level after his big week last week in winning the Bednarik, Lombardi, Outland, and Nagurski awards.
For starters, Donald was named as CBS Sports' Defensive Player of the Year. So it stands to reason that he also made their All American First Team.
That wasn't all, though. Donald was also named to the AP's prestigious All American First Team.
After winning all of those major awards last week, Donald not making an All American First Team at this point would be surprising and make all sorts of news. Still, glad to see the big man is continually getting accolades and remaining in the public eye for his monster season. The more attention he gets, the more attention Pitt's football program gets as well.
