Pitt has replaced the Villanova game originally scheduled for August 31st with a home game against Old Dominion on October 19th .. ODU is technically an FCS school but a higher grade than say Gardner Webb .. they are playing this year as an independent and will join FBS next year in Conference USA .. last year ODU was 11-2 and made it to the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs .. Pitt is holding a news conference at 3PM at Heinz to announce the full schedule .. it coincides with the ACC's presser to announce the conference schedule.
