A few Pitt targets recently played in the New York Class AA Championship game last week. Christ the King defeated Bishop Loughlin in the final and it was the fourth time they beat them this season.
Guard Jon Severe and center Adonis DelaRosa led Christ the King are both targets of Pitt. The Panthers are keeping an eye on the 2014 recruit DelaRosa and have reportedly offered Severe a scholarship for this year's class. Severe had 19 points while DelaRosa added 13.
For Bishop Loughlin, star 2014 guard Khadeen Carrington had 24 points in the loss. Carrington is also on Pitt's radar and head coach Jamie Dixon reportedly watched him play earlier this season.
Back to Severe a bit - with this year winding down, the 2013 season will be here before we know it. Severe has several schools chasing him and said in the article that he's not planning any additional visits. We'll see if Pitt is able to land him.
