After tonight, I could use a break. Pitt hauled in a third recruit tonight - defensive lineman Connor Dintino out of Connecticut. H/T to our friend @pittcabe for mentioning it on Twitter.
Rivals pegs him as a three-star recruit and the second best player in the state. He reportedly chose Pitt over UConn, Buffalo, Villanova, and Holy Cross. He's listed as a center on his Rivals page, but will apparently move to the line for the Panthers. If so, he's the second defensive lineman tonight after Mike Herndon committed. He also recently got his offer after attending a Pitt camp.
Pitt has stockpiled some offensive linemen and it's good to see Paul Chryst working the other side of the ball, too.
With Dintino, Pitt is now up to ten recruits for 2014. And with all of the late pickups, the Panthers have now shot all the way up to #36 on Rivals' rankings - that's up from #83 just last week.
