The Scoop - Wake Forest will get a new breath of fresh air with Danny Manning taking over the program. He did a nice job at Tulsa in his short tenure there, but will be asked to take a Wake Forest program back to prominence.

The Demon Deacons a are a few years away from being able to compete with the upper echelon of the league. They have some good players in place to at least allow them to stick in a few games this year. Codi Miller-Mcintyre is a very good guard, and had a breakout year last season. He will be tasked to handle the majority of the perimeter scoring. Devin Thomas is a good power forward that will be asked to do a lot of the work inside. There is not a lot other than those two. Look for graduate transfer, Darius Leonard from Campbell, to make an impact.

Final Outlook - Miller-Mcintyre and Thomas are tow good players, but they are lacking in talent everywhere else. Manning will get this program back to being a contender, but it won't happen this year.
