Just now, Ohio DT Tyler Bentley announced his commitment to Pitt. Bentley had been a Kentucky commit since June, but took an official visit to Pitt earlier this month. After his Pitt visit, he decommitted from Kentucky. In addition to his visit to Pitt, Bentley took an official visit to Louisville this past weekend.
Bentley has an impressive sheet, from the likes of Alabama, Florida, LSU, Michigan State, Tennessee, WVU and Wisconsin all having reportedly offered him. He’s the first scholarship level commit Pitt has had in quite a few months, but that is mostly because Pitt has had most of its class filled for a while.
Narduzzi has started somewhat of a tradition of starting to garner attention from prospects we hadn’t heard about through the recruiting cycle in December and January, and it looks like this year will be no different.
