After a disappointing loss to Wake Forest on Wednesday, the Pitt basketball team swung and missed at its best chance remaining to win an ACC game. But with that game over, I’m curious to see how we think the team will close out the year.
The Panthers first will face No. 1 Virginia at home this weekend. After that is a road date about Notre Dame. The Irish is the easier of the two opponents, but as I wrote earlier, desperately needs to win the game for its postseason aspirations.
What do you think about the next two games? Any chance Pitt remains competitive in one, or even both? Or are these two more blowouts?
For the sake of argument, let’s define competitive as within ten points.
