The Pitt softball team is prepared to host the Louisville Cardinals in a four-game series over the weekend. Unrelated to Covid, some changes have been made to the dates and times.
The Panthers’ game on Friday, April 2 against Louisville has now been moved to Monday, April 5. That contest will take place with a noon start time. Expected cold weather (lows on Friday in the Pittsburgh area are expected to be in the 20s with highs around 40 degrees) on Friday is the reason for the change.
Due to the change in Friday’s game, the double-header on Saturday and the contest on Sunday have gotten some changes as well. Saturday’s games are now scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., with the teams playing a double-header that day. Sunday’s contest will now be played at 2 p.m.
The Panthers come into the weekend with a 9–18 record.
