Pat Narduzzi and the Pitt coaching staff added a 12th recruit to their 2022 class, as Bradley Mann, a lineman out of the Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida, committed to the program on a News 4 JAX broadcast in his hometown on Sunday evening.

“Great school with great people,” Mann said of Pitt in June, according to Andrew Ivins of 247Sports. “Pittsburgh is a great city. I had never been up there before, but just the food, the people and the coaches, I liked it. I really like [Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi], too.”

The 6’6”, 260-pound lineman holds three-star ratings from Rivals and 247Sports. The latter ranks him as the No. 129 defensive lineman in the 2022 class and considers him the No. 124 recruit in the Sunshine State as well.

Over the course of his recruitment, Mann drew 14 offers, and he chose Pitt over Appalachian State, Army, Florida International, Illinois State, Indiana, Kansas, Liberty, Louisville, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Tulane, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. Louisville, Indiana and Wake Forest appeared to be Pitt’s top competitors for Mann, as he visited those programs in June in addition to making an official visit to Pitt.

In 2020, Mann played for the Episcopal School of Jacksonville as a defensive end and offensive lineman. At the time, he was listed at 6’5”, 225 pounds. But after helping the Eagles to a 7-3 record and a playoff berth, he went on a protein-heavy diet and bulked up in the offseason. He then transferred to the Bolles School, where he will play his senior season.

Despite his experience on the defensive side of the ball, Pitt is primarily interested in Mann for his abilities as an offensive lineman. He is the third offensive line recruit Pitt has added to its 2022 class, as the program also secured commitments from Isaiah Montgomery and Ja’Kavion Nonar in June. Mann is also the fourth Florida recruit in Pitt’s 2022 class, as Jordaan Bailey of Tampa, Camden Brown of Ft. Lauderdale and Ja’Kavion Nonar of Belle Glade all previously committed.
