Pitt Football Recruiting: Ejuan Price Officially Enrolls At Pitt
"Ejuan Price is an outstanding addition to our freshman class," coach Todd Graham said in a statement. "He comes from a tremendous football program in Woodland Hills. Ejuan is an explosive player who has great leadership abilities. He will fit in well with our defensive schemes and philosophies."
And with that, Ejuan Price officially became a Panther. Not that it was expected - we've been talking about it for several days now as it seemed to become more imminent.
Still, great to hear it's official.
Price joining Pitt gives the team another late addition to go along with Cullen Christian, Ray Vinopal, Josh Brinson, and Brendon Felder. Typically, when there's a new coach, you tend to lose players - Pitt has actually been gaining them because of other coaching changes.
So he's here - now what? ESPN.com blogger Andrea Adelson thinks he'll get a chance to contribute right away. As one of the higher rated linebacker recruits in the country, I'd certainly hope that would be the case. Though, I will say that learning a new scheme and having missed the Spring, he could be a little behind on what Pitt intends to do. But with so much talent, I don't think it's a stretch to say he can help the team this Fall.

Ejuan should be a great addition to the Panthers.
Don't argue with an idiot (insert Pitt, OSU, Michigan, etc. fan). He(she) will drag you down to his level and beat you with his eperience.

He should be one of the few freshmen who comes in and plays right away.

I despise people who speak in sweeping generalizations.
Thank you Ned Colletti.

Yeah, it was a little general. I was feeling a little bad because the articals on this site are very good and yet nobody enters into the discussion. What gives?
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

I was trying to be ironic there. Guess it worked! :)
Thank you Ned Colletti.

Thanks for the kind words
We’re still a fairly new SBN site, having only been around for about 9 months. Traffic is also a little better in-season (though we have plenty of ground to make up before becoming a full-blown community).
Welcome to the discussion and please continue to stop back and post - even as a PSU fan :)

It’ll be interesting if he plays his freshman year. The real key will be if he can contribute as a sophmore and then be a key player his 3rd and 4th year. With all he has to learn about playing at the next level and adjusting to the academics, it’s a lot to expect of a kid to come right in and make an impact as a true freshman. Maybe special teams or something. Really, anything more than that is icing on the cake.

I think he'll play this year - though sparingly
Definitely don’t see him jumping in and starting, but Pitt does have a history of getting true freshmen that are capable some playing time right away, so I could see him getting some work in as a substitution. Of course, that was under Dave Wannstedt before, so who knows how Todd Graham will treat the situation.
