Pitt has a game later today, but earlier this week, a game time for next week's Temple game was announced. The Panthers will take on the Owls next Saturday at noon. The contest will also be the Big East Game of the Week - Pitt's first this season. Locally, it will be WTAE-TV and will also be on ESPN3/WatchESPN.
If Pitt can manage to win today's game against Buffalo, the Temple one becomes a fairly big one as the Panthers will try to even their record on the season. More importantly, back-to-back wins will give the Panthers four victories - only two shy for bowl eligibility.
Temple football isn't a huge attraction by any means, but it will be interesting to see how many Owls fans are in attendance. The drive is a short one for Philly fans to make the trip and there are surely a fair amount of Temple alumni in the area.
