Pitt landed their second recruit of 2013 with the commitment of offensive lineman Aaron Reese. More on Pitt's newest commit after the jump.
Reese isn't a highly touted guy just yet, but this could be a case of picking up a guy before others notice. Pitt was reportedly the first school to offer him, though Rivals lists Penn State, Wisconsin, and Rutgers among others as other potential choices.Neither Rivals nor Scout currently rate him. He's an offensive tackle from Chambersburg, PA, but he also plays defensive tackle in high school. One of the things to like about him is his versatility in that aspect and he was all-conference on both sides of the ball last year.
Reese also already has pretty good size at 6'5" and 290 pounds according to Rivals.
Even though he's not a big time recruit at first glance, I'll trust Chryst and company on this one. They need not only more talent on the line, but more depth. And even if that becomes a position of strength for Pitt down the road, his defensive experience is a positive as well.
