While this week's scuting schedule is not a perfect one, you could probably still watch Pitt as well as next week's opponent, Virginia. While the Panthers host Akron on Saturday at 1:30PM, Virginia will play at 3:30 p.m.
UVA will also play a MAC member and get a little bit of a deserved break from top competition this coming Saturday when they host Kent State. No disrespect to the Golden Flashes, but so far, Kent State enters the contest with an 0-3 record. The Cavaliers take a 2-2 record into the game, with wins over Richmond and Louisville, who was ranked at the time. Their two losses came to the currently 11th ranked UCLA Bruins in a closer than expected game and also a tight one at BYU last week to the No. 20 Cougars. Virginia actually led BYU in the second half before falling by eight points. No matter how you look at it, they putting last year's dismal 2-10 season behind them early.
The game can be seen on your computer at ESPN3 or you can check your local listings. Kent State and Virginia kickoff at Scott Stadium at 3:30 p.m., so if you are watching Pitt at home, you can catch the Cavaliers game at the same time.
