On Thursday, I mentioned that the media at ACC's media days picked the Pitt basketball team to finish a distant tenth in their preseason poll. As stated then, I don't believe the Panthers are that bad. While the team struggled last season, they also return four of their five starters and have added some talent in the offseason - primarily via transfers and incoming freshman guard Damon Wilson.
I also can't look past the number of underclassmen that Pitt played last season that should all be better. Guys like Cameron Johnson, Ryan Luther, Sheldon Jeter, and Chris Jones should all contribute.
Now it's your turn, though. With the season fast approaching, where do you see the Panthers finishing in the conference? Vote in the poll below and use the comments section to explain your pick. This poll doesn't include your thoughts yet on the NCAA Tournament but we'll get to that a little closer to the season.
