The bad news is that Pitt lost already this week. The even worse news is that you have to sit at home on a perfectly good Saturday night and hand out free candy to a bunch of brats in your neighborhood for Halloween. The good news is that you can do something productive while making sure your neighbor's kids are infected with cavities tonight and that is to scout out a familiar opponent: Notre Dame.

The Irish will actually travel out to my neck of the woods where a very excited city and team await the 6-1 Golden Domers. Notre Dame comes in with a No. 9 ranking in both polls Saturday night and they will face off against the nationally ranked Temple Owls. Yes, you read that right...the Owls are ranked in the Top 25 in both polls and this city and school can't wait for 8:00 p.m. to get here. College Gameday is coming and everyone is fired up.

Will that be enough to carry Temple to the upset of Notre Dame? The good news is that you can sit right in your living room and chow down on all the candy that is left over (or that you just kept for yourself) and watch the game. ABC will be the channel you tune into and 8:00 p.m. will be the time. We all know a lot about Notre Dame, but get a look at them so your memory is fresh for their visit to Heinz Field a week from today.
