The Pitt men’s basketball team isn’t faring too well in the conference. Thus far, the Panthers are 0-7 after yesterday’s blowout loss to Duke.
There are 11 ACC games remaining on the schedule with four coming against ranked teams. Plenty of opportunities still remain but the Panthers thus far haven’t just been beaten in the conference, they’ve generally been wiped out.
Offense has been a key problem with the team scoring only in the 50s and once in the 40s in every game except Virginia Tech, when they got to 67. They’ve lost every game by double digits and the closest they’ve come to victory was against the Hokies in a game that was close until a late surge by Virginia Tech in the final two minutes.
Pitt still has a game against 8-10 Wake Forest but one of their best chances for victory seemed to be against a 10-9 Georgia Tech team and Pitt lost that contest by 15 points.
As we get closer to the halfway point in the conference schedule, what say you? Will Pitt win an ACC game this season?
