PrintGilbert Brown's career-best 28 points on Saturday against Maryland Eastern Shore earned him Big East Player of the Week.
Gil was nearly perfect shooting the basketball (11-13 FGs, 4-5 three-point shots, and 2-2 from the stripe). He also added five rebounds, five assists, and a steal.
It was also the first time he won the award.
