A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned the post about coaches with the most to prove from our weekly Big East confab. The Sporting News has another Big East themed coaching piece up this week.

The publication takes a shot at ranking the conference's coaches.

Paul Chryst didn't fare all that well, finishing sixth out of seven coaches. But as I think I've pointed out before, there's no possible way to accurately rate Chryst since this is his first go-round as a head coach. We don't know how he'll perform and trying to rate him with the likes of guys like Paul Pasqualoni who's been coaching for a long time is a bit crazy.

But all of that pales in comparison to the fact that the Sporting News forgot to even slot Syracuse's Doug Marrone. I get it - we all make this mistakes. Still, pretty embarrassing for a major news outlet.
