The end of another football season is upon us. Well, the regular season, anyway.
With eight wins, Pitt is assured of playing in a bowl game, so they've got one more to go. But the Panthers aren't yet satisfied and will be looking to get to nine regular season wins for the first time since 2009.
Pitt faces a familiar foe in Miami today and in a familiar slot in the day after Thanksgiving. Last year on Black Friday, the Panthers defeated the Hurricanes on the road, 35-23. Today, they'll get the game at home.
Miami doesn't look like a pushover, checking into the contest only one game behind Pitt at 7-4. The Hurricanes have had some blowout losses to Clemson and North Carolina, but still a formidable opponent having won three of their last four games.
