Poll of the Week: Will Pitt presence on Twitter pay dividends?

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

To say that new Pitt football head coach Pat Narduzzi is a different coach than Paul Chryst is an understatement. We haven't seen him coach a game yet, but his recruiting style is a complete 180 from Chryst's and Narduzzi has built a huge presence on Twitter. His personality seems to have rejuvenated a fanbase that had gotten accustomed to 6-6 seasons.

The attitude is a welcome change. Chryst managed to land some quality recruits, but as a whole, was simply behind the times when it came to the utilization of social media. And while he may have had the program headed in the right direction, the fact is that he strung together three consecutive 6-6 seasons.

But while Narduzzi's style is a dynamic one, the question is, will it matter? Not that we're into being pessimistic here, but are you personally sold on Narduzzi already or are you taking a wait and see approach?

There's more to coaching than just recruiting or personality. Based on what you've seen to date with his well-publicized alumni visits what do you think about Narduzzi's chances of success in terms of recruiting and, ultimately, turning the program around? Weigh in using the poll below and the comments section.
