A while back, Pitt opened up as a nine-point favorite against Penn State for the teams' upcoming football game this season. While I personally thought that was a big number, I'm curious to hear what others think.
The pros are that Pitt has the game at home and that Penn State isn't expected to field a great team. The flipside is that the Panthers lost, may not have running back , has some shaky positions on defense, and (with the loss of , who transferred out of the program this offseason) has razor-thin depth at quarterback behind starter Nathan Peterman. Pitt has talent to be sure, but there are also question marks from their vantage point.
Are you on board with a nine-point (or larger) number there or do you think it should have been smaller? Weigh in by voting in the poll below and using the comments section.
