The Portal Prowl: Decoldest Crawford gets an offer from Pitt

The coldest name in college football picks up an offer from Pitt

The transfer portal moves fast as colleges race to try to secure the top talents in the country that are looking for a change of scenery. Today we have two more players that have picked up offers from the Pittsburgh Panthers including one of the most recognizable names in the portal.

Decoldest Crawford, Wide Receiver

Pitt is completely in on the transfer portal wide receiver market and now has offered one of the most recognizable NIL names in it. Decoldest Crawford is a 6’1 wide receiver who unfortunately was unable to play his freshman season after a season-ending injury. With the coaching change in Nebraska Crawford decided it was best to transfer.

Crawford has plenty of power 5 interest coming out of high school with programs like LSU, Penn State, USC, and Ole Miss offering among others. Crawford still has garnered interest in the transfer portal receiving offers from UCLA, Washington State, Vanderbilt, and Syracuse among power 5 offers.

Crawford still has four seasons of eligibility after missing the first season of his college career. With Pitt showing how aggressive they will be in the portal at the wide receiver position, Pitt has a chance to get a developmental prospect that will be in the program for years.

Marcellus Marshall, Offensive Tackle

Marshall is another transfer target from Kent State to who Pitt extended an offer. The Panthers are losing a lot of players from the offensive line as numerous players have finally exhausted all of their college eligibility. The 6’6 330 pound tackle made first-team All-MAC after starting at left tackle for the Golden Flashes.

Marshall has also received offers from Colorado and Minnesota.
