Darnell Dodson Out At Kentucky?

Former Pitt player/recruit and current Kentucky Wildcat Darnell Dodson could again be off of a team.  While he is academically eligible, according to a Facebook post by coach John Calapari, Dodson is not making a trip to Canada with the rest of the Wildcats.  The article says that he will not play for the team this year.

Here's a site that has the alleged Facebook post.

Not much else is known at this point, but Calapari did leave the door open for him to potentially return and said he could practice with the team.  For now, it appears he may be off the team.

Dodson, if you remember, was enrolled at Pitt but never played for the team as he had academic issues.  He transferred to a junior college before going to Kentucky last season.  He led the team with 50 three-pointers and averaged six points in 14.5 minutes per game off the bench. With the depatures of the five freshman that went in the first round of the NBA Draft last year, he could have seen even more playing time this season.
