There wasn't any chance that Ray Graham wouldn't win the Big East Offensive Player of the Week award and today it was confirmed. Graham rushed for 277 yards, averaged nearly 10 yards per carry, and had three touchdowns to win the award in his first career start. He also had 374 all-purpose yards and both the all-purpose yards and rushing totals are FBS season highs.

Dan Hutchins also won the conference's Special Teams Player of the Week Award. He scored 14 points on three field goals and five extra points. His only punt of the day was the outstanding kick that went out of bounds around the two-yard line, backing FIU up near their own goal. Hutchins has emerged as one of the top kickers in the conference, leading the Big East in punting, kick scoring, field goals, field goal percentage, and PAT percentage.

UCONN cornerback Bildi Wreh-Wilson was the defensive player of the week.
