Bowl Projections: Syracuse Accepts Pinstripe Bowl Bid

Syracuse is bowl bound for the first time since 2004 and its where everyone expected - the Pinstripe Bowl.

Star-divide

The Orange are headed to, well, their own backyard, playing in New York's Pinstripe Bowl. They'll face a Big 12 team there.

Pitt obviously still has bigger aspirations such as a BCS bid or even the Champs Sports Bowl if that committee decides to wait for a better Notre Dame team down the line. But the first shot has been fired so to speak, even if it was almost assured that was where Syracuse was headed.
