No, this isn't a hoax. Tino Sunseri was named Big East Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the UConn Huskies.

Congratulations Tino!

Congratulations are in order for Tino. I thought the world would have ended before this would happen but never-the-less he did a good job and deserves the praise.

Shows that Tino does have it to be a great QB

Great for Tino!! Of course, Tino has shown Heisman like greatness in the past (like last year against the Cuse), but his big problem is on consistency. You just don’t know what Tino Sunserio you are going to get before the game. Still, this is great news - especially with Ray Graham being down. It means that Tino does have it in him to be an outstanding QB.

Sunseri

Again showed he’s capable of playing well. Personally, I couldn’t care less that he rarely completes long passes. I’ll take 400 yards and two TDs any day of the week if it results in a win.

This isn’t about Tino being a great quarterback, it’s about him being a competent one. And when he plays like he did Wednesday, he’s proved he can play in the conference.

Also worth mentioning

Jarred Holley was named to the honor roll with his nine tackles and sack last week.
