Last week, I went over just how much Steven Adams had started moving up on the national level. I'm not going to rehash that information, but Adams got more recognition this week.
Recently, he shot up on Scout's rankings, moving up to the No. 8 overall recruit for 2012. Rivals at the time still had Adams hovering around the 50 spot. But that all changed as they've skyrocketed him up to the No. 5 overall prospect. Rivals hasn't updated the position rankings yet according to Adams' individual page - as of now, they still list him as the No. 12 overall center. But based on the new list, Adams is the No. 2 center behind only super prospect Andre Drummond. Drummond, by the way, could end up in the Big East as four of the five schools he's reportedly interested in are UConn, West Virginia, Louisville, and Georgetown.
And for the record, Pitt's newest commit, point guard James Robinson, is the No. 59 overall recruit.
