Four Panthers Invited to NFL Combine

With the NFL season winding down, preparations for the NFL Draft are beginning. That includes the NFL Combine, where four Pitt seniors will be heading at the end of February.

Brandon Lindsey, Chas Alecxih, Antwuan Reed, and Lucas Nix all earned invites to this year's combine. And the cool thing is that all four have a legitimate shot to get drafted this year.

Lindsey is rated as the 7th best outside linebacker by ESPN. They like his mix of size and speed as well as his 3rd down capabilities and think he will be taken in the 4th round. He is the only Panther that they have evaluated so far. At this stage, the other three are mostly projected to be late round pickups or go undrafted, but you've got to think that Nix will be taken and Alecxih and Reed will have a shot.
