Ray Who? Graham Left Off Top Ten List
Every now and then, I link to the Orlando Sentinel. They cover the Big East fairly often and Pitt-related stuff comes up pretty regularly.
So when I saw they had a top ten list (courtesy of Big East Coast Bias), I was waiting to see where Ray Graham would rank. For some reason, he didn't even make the list.
That's right - a list of players to watch didn't even include what may be the league's best player.
I try not to crush media types when it comes to these things. I do this in my spare time and can't possibly keep up with every team out there, so I don't get everything right.
But seriously - how does Graham get overlooked? With Geno in the Big 12, Graham's probably my pick for Big East Player of the Year. Might want to find room for him on your list.

I mean, it's more
Of a “Ten to watch” than “top ten,” so it’s a little more conceivable how Graham would be left off. That said, I’m confused how he’s not “one to watch.” Coming back from injury, all eyes will be on him to take some pressure off Sunseri in the offense. Maybe they see Shell and him splitting time at RB?

True
And the more I read the list, it’s evident it’s not necessarily the top ten players.
Still, I think it’s a bit strange that he was left off. More likely, he was just forgotten. Graham is maybe THE guy to watch this year because of his injury last year. From the Pitt perspective, we’re dying to see if this guy can put up those type of numbers again. I think he’s not only one of the best players, but one of the most intriguing ones for this year. I’ve got to think they forgot about him since his story is pretty compelling.

Could've made the assumption
He declared for the draft, and didn’t bother to look. Most thought Graham was going to the NFL, so would’ve made sense to a point.
Based on what I’ve seen from Ray Graham during his career, I think he can definitely come back and be just as productive. On a per-carry basis, may even be more so this season, since he has Shell to spell him and take some of the pressure off.

Slightly related news
But Pitt got a commit in OT Aaron Reese today. More to come later
