(Don't) Bet The Farm: Pitt-Hawaii Predictions

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

As you know, we do weekly football picks for each game at Cardiac Hill. With so many basketball games, we won't be picking each one. However, we'll continue the tradition and give our predictions for the premier game each week.

Pitt basketball takes a 2-0 record into Friday's game against Hawaii after a successful first week. The Panthers will have to stay up late to get to 3-0 with a midnight tip-off and are hoping to adjust to the time difference before the Maui Invitational in the games after Friday.

As expected, with Pitt's non-conference wins in years past, our writers are all getting off on the same foot this season and selecting the Panthers to take their record to 3-0.

I think we can all agree that Jamie Dixon's squad can come out victorious against the Rainbow Warriors as long as they play more like they did in the opener against Niagara, rather than how they looked against Samford.

Below are the writers participating in basketball picks this season in alphabetical order (since we have no standings at this time) and our official game picks. Give us your predictions for the game below in the comments section.

Anson (0-0): Pitt

Aron (0-0): Pitt

Chris (0-0): Pitt

J.D. (0-0): Pitt

Jim (0-0): Pitt

Stephen (0-0): Pitt
