Pitt-Miami set for noon kickoff

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Pitt gets a nice break from their usual noon time slots that we've seen this season when they face Louisville on Saturday. But it's back to business as usual the following week when the Panthers will host Miami.

Pitt faces the Hurricanes the Friday after Thanksgiving, a familiar game date for the Panthers, at noon. The good news is that it will be telecast on ABC, giving the team some nice exposure to close out the year. A win in that game would give the team a shot at ten wins for the year if they can defeat Louisville this weekend.

Obviously, the complaint for the noon kickoff here will come largely from those who have to work on Friday, and that's understandable.

Last year, the Panthers defeated the Hurricanes, 35-23, also in the season finale at Miami. Miami is 6-4 on the year and plays at home against Georgia Tech this weekend.
