(Don't) Bet The Farm: Duke

New, 15 comments

Pitt will travel down to Tobacco Road for their first ACC trip to Duke. Is anyone at Cardiac Hill brave enough to pick the Panthers? Spoiler alert: Nope.

Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

Pitt will travel to Duke tomorrow night to have their first Cameron Indoor experience as an ACC member. It's tough enough playing at Duke and facing Coach K and the Crazies, but they are especially good this season. Jahlil Okafor and crew took it to top ten ranked Louisville AT Louisville over the weekend to maintain their own top five ranking. Pitt will have to play nearly perfect to come out on top.

That being said, facts are facts and Pitt and Duke are tied in conference play right now at 3-2, so the winner will get a leg up on the loser. The Panthers are entering a very difficult portion of the schedule. It's really easy when you break it down, but if Pitt can pull out an upset or two and win the games they are supposed to win down the stretch, then the big dance could be within reach. It will be difficult though and it starts tomorrow.

You can catch the game, along with everyone else in the country, on ESPN at 7:00 p.m. Tipoff at Duke will take place, as mentioned, at Cameron Indoor and the place will be rocking for the Panthers' first visit. A first visit there can be a scary place, so the guards, in particular, will have to be poised at the start to avoid a quick hole.

Below are the official picks for the game and we all seem to be in agreement this week, except it is probably not the way you would want. Comment below to let us know if you agree or disagree with all of us going against the Panthers for this game.

Anson (5-3): Duke

Chris (5-3): Duke

Jim (5-3): Duke

Aron (4-4): Duke

JD (4-4): Duke

Stephen (4-4): Duke
