Pitt Basketball has not had a great couple of weeks.
Mustapha Heron has reopened his recruitment, per @AdamFinkelstein. Top 20 player in the 2016 class.

I think it'd be safe to classify St. John's as the new team to beat for Mustapha Heron. Slice Rohrssen has a strong connection to his father

Heron told other outlets that Pitt is still "a top school" for him, but this is pretty bad for Pitt. Heron not only is highly ranked, but has been playing better and better lately. It's also not surprising former Pitt assistant "Slice" is at the forefront of luring him away from Pitt. Pitt simply has to make an impact in its next two recruiting classes to stay competitive in the ACC long term.
