Pitt Football Recruiting: Allderdice's Jackson twins, Tim and James, are picking up interest

Tim and James Jackson pulled in their first Division I offers last week

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Allderdice's two-sport star athletes, Tim and James Jackson, are beginning to see a pickup in their recruitment process. Just last week the two reportedly earned scholarship offers to Arizona State. James quarterbacks the team while Tim is a wide receiver - the two are identical twins. Kevin Gorman in that link for the Trib called them the top duo in City League football.

The Sun Devils are, of course, coached by former Pitt coach Todd Graham. The two led 'Dice to a City League championship in basketball this past year and ultimately to the semifinals of the state tournament, the furthest that the school has gone since the 1980s.

247Sports writer Karlo Zovko was at a 7 on 7 football event this past weekend where the twins reportedly dominated the competition.

He later tweeted:

It will be interesting to see if and when Narduzzi acts. Rivals says the Pitt coaches are paying attention ($). The pair are drawing some interest but still ranked pretty low, not registering any stars on Rivals. Still, it sounds as if they are gaining steam and will be coveted by the time National Signing Day rolls around.
