Pitt Vs. Louisville Big East Injury Report

Louisville running back Victor Anderson is tackled by Pittsburgh defenders

Pitt takes on Louisville today and yesterday, the conference revealed its weekly injury report.

Star-divide

The report confirms that Pitt DE Greg Romeus is out. I mentioned earlier this week that I thought it was a good idea to rest Romeus since Brandon Lindsey is playing so well and since Pitt is on a bye next weekend, the team can get him some extra rest.

On the Louisville side of things, several players were listed as questionable, including backup running back, Victor Anderson. Fans remember the 1,000-yard season he had as a freshman two years ago. Anderson was slowed by injuries last season and serves as the backup to Bilal Powell this year. He's not their main back, but averages more than five yards per carry and is still a threat. If Louisville is without him, Powell will be forced to carry more of the load.
