More than two months after his last game, Pitt's season opener against Utah, defensive end Greg Romeus returned to practice.
Romeus was back on the field practicing for the first time since he underwent back surgery. Dave Wannstedt, though, is still undecided on if Romeus will be back for the UCONN game this Thursday.
It would be nice to see him, but as has been discussed ad nauseum, Brandon Lindsey and Jabaal Sheard have been incredible this year and defensive end is really one of the Panthers' areas of least concern. Even if he does get back, I don't expect him to play in the bulk of the game.
