Joe Lunardi released the first version of his bracketology ranknigs for the season (and if you're silently wondering to yourself if it's too early...yes, yes it is).
Pitt took home a number one seed in the first edition and other three number ones are Duke, Michigan State, and Kansas. According to Lunardi's first ranking, Pitt would battle a 16-seed Princeton team in the first round. Let's really hope that doesn't happen.
Lunardi also has the Big East with the most bids in the tournament with eight (Pitt, Syracuse, Villanova, Marquette, UConn, Georgetown, West Virginia, and Louisville).
