Greg Romeus Sustained Another Injury During UConn Game
I almost missed this nugget, but Paul Zeise of the Post-Gazette doesn't miss anything. He mentioned that Greg Romeus sustained an injury during the UConn game on Thursday.
I missed part of this game, so maybe the announcers mentioned it, but Greg Romeus apparently left the game with a twisted knee. According to Zeise, he didn't return because of it. No word yet on how serious it was, but it's probably something Dave Wannstedt will mention during his weekly press conference tomorrow.
Romeus hasn't been able to catch many breaks this season. Hopefully it's not something that causes him to miss any more time.

Romeus out for the year
Damn shame about GR. He was probably our best pass rusher since Claude Harriot’s junior season. The defense would have been so much better with him healthy all year. At least Lindsey has been a revelation. We’ll have to see how good he is next year witouth Sheard.
