I tried to get to this earlier, but I've just been in the middle of a crazy, crazy week. Not a huge story here, but I did want to at least point out a little Pitt merchandise update released recently.
Basketball season is fast approaching and the school has released the latest version of the popular Oakland Zoo t-shirts. You can get the new shirts in the Pitt store. The back has again incorporated the Cathedral into it.
I haven't bought a Zoo shirt in several years, but I always think it's cool that there's some buzz created around the release of a new one every year. The students look forward to it and other fans buy them as well.
Noteworthy (to me, anyway) was that the shirt still features the block logo. All Pitt sports are supposed to be using the script by next season and it was said earlier that any new projects involving the block were frozen. If that's true, the shirt design had to have been in the works for a while. But my guess is that next year's shirt will have the script on it.
