Pitt takes on North Carolina this Thursday and, as usual, there are a few injuries to watch for this week.
The Post-Gazette's Sam Werner has the injury report and the Panthers are mostly in decent shape on that front. First up is safety Reggie Mitchell. Mitchell has been day-to-day for a while, but he's been ruled out already for this game. As we say every week around here, it might not matter much as long as Terrish Webb is healthy since he's been playing well.
That of course leads us to Webb himself, who missed last week's game with an injury. Also per that report, he is listed as probable for this week. As of now, it sounds as if he has a good chance to get back.
On offense, wide receiver Tre Tipton is probable for the game as well. Fellow wideout Chris Wuestner has been ruled out. Neither player has caught a pass this season.
Webb is the big impact player here and here's to hoping he gets back out there. Pitt needs to be as close to full strength as possible against the Tar Heels.
